Terms & Conditions
General terms & conditions for attending as delegate and/or guest.
1. Introduction
1.1 The 2025 COVENANT CONFERENCE is organized and managed by Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary whose registered address is 800 Chuck Gray Ct, Owensboro, KY 42303. This is referred to herein as the “event” and these Terms and Conditions apply to each.
1.2 References to “us” means Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary and references to “we” and “our” shall be construed accordingly. Reference to “you” means the entity completing a booking request and your guests or representatives and references to “your” shall be construed accordingly.
1.3 All applications to register for the event are made subject to these Terms & Conditions (which shall apply to the exclusion of any terms imposed by you).
1.4 You acknowledge and accept that we have the right to publicly announce our business relationship with you which shall include but not be limited to announcements on social media. Such announcements shall not be disparaging or otherwise adverse to your business.
2. Bookings
2.1 All applications to register for the event are subject to availability and you making full payment.
2.2 Registered conference attendees will receive their name badges upon check-in at the conference. Name badges must be worn at all times throughout the duration of the conference.
2.3 Guests may be required to show proof of identity at time of check-in for the event. Acceptable forms of valid identification include but are not limited to: Passport, U.S. state-issued driver’s license, military ID card.
3. Prices and payment
3.1 Our prices for attending the event are set out on our website. Prices may be subject to change from time to time.
3.4 Parents are welcomed to bring children 10 years of age and under free of charge with at least one accompanying adult.
3.5 Adult will consider all individuals of age 17 or older.
3.6 The regular rate for adults will be $119 per person. There will also be an early bird rate (-$20) and a late rate (+$20) assessed at the posted time windows. The rate for youth will be $25 per person. The rate for spouses will be $50, only applies to registrants who are adding on a spouse to an order.
4. Changes to the event and cancellations
4.1 It may be necessary for reasons beyond our reasonable control to alter the advertised content, speakers, timing and/or location of the event or the advertised speakers. We reserve the right to do this at any time. Where we alter the time and/or location of the event, we will provide you with notice of the same and will offer you the choice of either a credit for a future event of your choice (up to the value of sums paid by you in respect of the event) or the opportunity to attend the event as varied.
4.2 Cancellations - Cancellations must be made by phone (270-925-6992) during normal business hours (not via voicemail message), or by email ([email protected]).
4.3 Refunds - CBTS is not responsible for issuing refunds on orders canceled by attendees. Canceled registrations are only eligible for a refund if the registrant has purchased RegFox Purchase Protection and has a qualifying reason approved by RegFox (see Purchase Protection terms and conditions).
4.4 Name changes may be made but this will result in loss of RegFox Purchase Protection eligibility.
4.5 We shall not be liable to you for travel, accommodation or other costs and expenses incurred (included wasted costs and expenses) if we are required to cancel or relocate the event as a result of an event outside our control (including, without limitation, to acts of God, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, military operations, acts of terrorism or threats of any such acts, any strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action and a pandemic, epidemic or other widespread illness).
4.6 We shall not be liable for any failure of the contracted venue to provide any special diet food, that has been pre-ordered.
5. Content
5.1 All rights in all presentations, documentation and materials published or otherwise made available as part of the event (including but not limited to any documentation packs or audio or audio-visual recording of the event) (“Content”) are owned by us or are included with the permission of the owner of the rights.
5.2 No republication, broadcast or other dissemination of the Content is permitted. You shall not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or in any other way use any of the Content (save that use by the relevant delegate for internal business purposes shall be permitted).
5.3 By attending this event, you consent to the use of your photo (if taken) on our website and/or in any promotional literature for this and future conferences or classes without compensation or credit.
6. Liability
6.1 I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators and assigns, hereby knowingly and intentionally (A) waive any and all liability of Covenant Baptist Theological Seminary and their respective successors, assigns, owners, shareholders, officers, directors, members and Personnel (each individually, a “Released Party”; collectively, “Released Parties”) for, (B) release Released Parties from, and (C) covenant not to sue Released Parties for any and all causes of action, claims, injuries, liabilities, damages or demands of any nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, foreseen and unforeseen personal injuries, property damage, death, sickness or accident of any kind and whenever occurring, arising out of or in any way related to any Activity, any occurrence or event involving the conference, any Released Party or any service or program related to any thereof, whether such Activity, occurrence or event is supervised or unsupervised and however and whenever any injury, property damage, death, sickness or accident is caused.
6.2 We shall not be liable to you for (i) any loss of profit, loss of or damage to data, loss of anticipated savings or interest, loss of or damage to reputation or goodwill or; (ii) any indirect, special or consequential damages, loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind.
6.3 You agree to indemnify us, our staff and our affiliates and to hold us harmless to the fullest extent permitted by law, against all loss, costs, claims or expenses of any kind arising from any act or omission by you (including your delegates) during or otherwise in relation to the event.
6.4 I acknowledge that participation in the conference subjects me, and those in my party, to the risk of sickness and death. This shall include, but not be limited to, COVID-19, any mutation of the coronavirus, or other communicable diseases. I voluntarily assume the risks associated with participation in the conference and the risk of exposure to disease that comes wherever people are present.
7. General
7.1 These Terms and Conditions (together with any documents referred to herein or required to be entered into pursuant to these Terms and Conditions) contain the entire agreement and understanding between us and supersede all prior agreements, understandings or arrangements (both oral and written) relating to the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions and any such document.
7.2 These Terms and Conditions shall not create, nor shall they be construed as creating, any partnership or agency relationship between us.
7.3 You accept that communication with us may be electronic. We may contact you by e-mail or provide you with information by posting notices on our website. You agree to this electronic means of communication and you acknowledge that all such communications that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal or contractual requirement that such communication be made in writing.
